Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform routine preventive maintenance throughout the facility, completing work orders for general building repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and minor electrical tasks. Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and other components while assisting with painting and cosmetic fixes. Conduct facility inspections to report concerns, troubleshoot HVAC and lighting systems, and maintain clean, organized work areas. Move office furniture and equipment safely, set up conference rooms, and complete all required documentation. Respond promptly to maintenance requests while adhering to OSHA regulations and safety policies. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM in an active distribution center.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of commercial building or facilities maintenance experience
- Experience performing general preventive maintenance
- Basic knowledge of plumbing repairs
- Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of carpentry repairs
- Experience using a volt meter
- Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders up to 30 feet
- Ability to work safely in an active warehouse environment
- Steel-toe boots
