Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot and perform all necessary repairs to the apartment community, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical systems. Complete resident requested service orders on a timely basis and assist in maintaining the exterior property for curb appeal. Install new appliances as needed while complying with all OSHA regulations and health, safety, and environmental laws. Perform additional duties as assigned and remain available for after-hours emergency response. Requires a high school diploma, one year of related experience, and strong HVAC troubleshooting skills; EPA Type I & II certification is preferred. Valid driver's license may be required.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems
- Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC certification
- EPA Type I & II certification(s)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines
