Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Complete resident maintenance requests within 24 hours and address emergency issues like plumbing leaks, electrical failures, and HVAC malfunctions while following safety protocols. Conduct scheduled property inspections for A/C units, roofs, and common areas, ensuring walkways and amenities such as pools and playgrounds remain safe and functional. Assist in preparing vacant units for move-in readiness by verifying appliances and utilities are operational. Maintain accurate logs for Freon replacement and pool operations, and organize tools and chemical storage per manufacturer guidelines. Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, adhering to all safety policies and company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance, property management, or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks
- HVAC and EPO Preferred
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to talk or hear
