Job Summary
Maintenance Technician (Machinist) responsible for maintaining automated production machinery to minimize downtime and support production schedules; performs preventive and predictive maintenance; works with machining processes including manual milling, turning, grinding, welding, and CNC setup/programming; reads electrical/pneumatic diagrams and hydraulic systems; mold shop maintenance; must lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work overtime; two-hour intervals of standing/walking; safety-focused with plant safety training; reports to Maintenance Supervisor; overtime and weekend work may be required; benefits include comprehensive healthcare and retirement plans.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems preferred
- Must have experience with basic hand tools
- Strong communication skills
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings/schematics
- CNC machine setup, programming, and operation
