Job Summary
Maintenance Technician (MT) responsible for maintaining automated production machinery to reduce downtime and meet production schedules. Performs preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment relocations, machining-related tasks (manual milling, turning, grinding, welding), mold repair/maintenance, and documentation of work. Collaborates with machine shop and mold shop teams; reads electrical/pneumatic diagrams and schematics; works with suppliers to resolve technical issues. Requires safety training, ability to work with limited supervision, and willingness to overtime (nights/weekends). Compensation and benefits are described, with an annual base salary range of $46,464–$69,696 and comprehensive US benefits. The role emphasizes technical proficiency across machine tooling, machining processes, mold maintenance, and preventive maintenance practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum HS Diploma or GED
- Technical Associates degree preferred
- 3 years of applicable experience/demonstrated skill preferred
- 2 years as a Production Technician or Auxiliary
- Experience with basic hand tools
- Ability to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams; hydraulics preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under stressful conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, stand for extended periods
