Job Summary
Maintain clubhouse facilities and equipment, including painting, door and window maintenance, and ceiling repairs. Perform general repairs on plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, appliances, and ventilation while managing air conditioning, refrigerators, and pool pumps. Monitor swimming pool filtration and chlorination, testing water daily and maintaining logs for health department inspections. Install tile and drywall, perform grouting repairs, patch walls, and maintain har tru clay tennis courts. Execute routine preventive maintenance per club procedures and attend departmental staff meetings. Complete other appropriate assignments made by the Facilities Director.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary vocational/ building maintenance
- One year maintenance experience in an institutional or business setting
- Basic knowledge of trades to understand repair problems and make minor repairs on outlets, lamps and plumbing fixtures
- General knowledge of power tools
- Painting
- Drywall/plaster repair
- Lock repair and replacement
- Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations
- Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position
- Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling
- Frequent repetitive motions
- Continuous standing and walking
