Job Summary
Process resident service requests and complete apartment turnovers including cleaning, painting, and repairs. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, concrete, masonry, and landscaping items while performing scheduled preventative maintenance. Maintain buildings, common areas, and grounds by removing debris, emptying trash, and sweeping walkways. Operate necessary machinery and equipment, manage snow removal, and ensure pool amenities meet sanitation and testing requirements. Identify potential hazards and work in a customer-centered environment with on-call availability for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Must be able to follow oral and written directions
- Two or more years of experience in apartment maintenance
- Must be able to pass the maintenance test
- Must be able to demonstrate skills
- Must be available for emergency calls after hours
- Must be available for weekends
- Must be available for holidays
- Must be able to climb ladders to a height in excess of 10 feet
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop and bend continuously during the 8 hour shift
- Must wear designated maintenance uniform
- Must wear personal protective equipment
