Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures within the building. Responsibilities include performing inspections and maintenance on the building's exterior and interior, assisting in general maintenance tasks across various trades such as carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing, and maintaining records of preventative maintenance schedules. Candidates should possess one year of experience in basic building maintenance trades or warehouse operations, along with knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance work. The job requires physical ability to lift and move objects, and may include climbing ladders and working in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- One year experience as a semi-skilled worker in one or more of the basic building maintenance trades
- One year experience in a warehouse distribution operation
- Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools
- Ability to operate a forklift, light truck and other related motorized equipment
