Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for routine maintenance and repairs of facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical), inspections of the building and grounds, preventative maintenance, safety compliance, emergency repairs, and inventory management. Requires strong troubleshooting and the ability to use hand and power tools, plus good communication and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Preference for technical certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical, and for candidates with healthcare or long-term care facility experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A technical certification in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance or repair
- Experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or similar setting is preferred but not required
