Job Summary
Install, service, and repair equipment using personal and company-supplied tools while performing scheduled preventive maintenance. Move and position components with hoists and dollies, maintain accurate daily work records, and organize tools and supplies. Keep work areas clean and hazard-free, use proper safety equipment, and follow safety, environmental, food safety, and GMP requirements. Execute job orders and maintain documentation while climbing, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Work in non-climate-controlled environments, including heights and confined spaces, adhering to all regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience
- food manufacturing experience
- Basic to advanced maintenance skills
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience gained through on-the-job training
- Ability to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with conveyors and gearboxes
- Electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment knowledge
- Electrical experience with 110V and 480V three-phase
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Experience with inverters and proximity switches
- Welding skills (MIG and stick)
- TIG training
- PLC experience
