Maintenance Technician Level 1

Maintenance Technician I supports daily maintenance operations across Elm Grove-managed properties. This entry-level role performs routine maintenance and minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting; assists with apartment and office turnovers, conducts regular inspections, responds to resident service requests, and participates in on-call maintenance emergencies. Strong problem-solving and time management skills, ability to work independently, and good communication/customer service are required. Must have own tools, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying conditions. Education: high school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of general maintenance or related experience preferred.
