Job Summary
Maintenance Technician I supports daily maintenance operations across Elm Grove-managed properties. This entry-level role performs routine maintenance and minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting; responds to resident/service requests with courteous communication; conducts regular inspections; assists with apartment and office turnovers; maintains tools and supplies; supports snow removal and seasonal maintenance; participates in after-hours on-call rotation; adheres to safety policies. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; 1-2 years of general maintenance experience preferred; strong problem-solving, time management, independent work capability, and customer service mindset.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of general maintenance or related experience preferred
- Basic understanding of building systems and general trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
