Job Summary
Maintenance Technician for a 366-unit market-rate property in Saginaw, MI. Responsibilities include maintaining grounds (trash removal and snow clearing), performing unit turnovers with repairs, plumbing, and painting, completing residential work orders accurately and promptly, and collaborating with staff across departments. Requires flexibility to work various shifts, including on-call, and extended hours outdoors in different weather conditions; requires teamwork and customer-service oriented interactions with staff and residents.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or some college credits from a technical school; or one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair
- Experience with drywall repairs and painting are essential
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and independently
- Customer Service attitude in all interactions with staff and residents
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- HVAC Certification is a plus
- EPA Certification preferred
- Ability to work occasional weekends and/or evenings (on call) required
