Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for supporting the entire manufacturing facility, performing repairs, adjustments, installations and preventive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems; conducting changeovers and setup of equipment; participating in major rebuilds and plant facilities maintenance; ensuring safety priorities and compliance with GMP/HACCP; diagnosing malfunctions with voltmeters and test devices; reading blueprints and manuals; training operators on equipment functions; maintaining records of repairs and materials; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a dynamic manufacturing environment; minimum high school/GED required with 5+ years of maintenance experience preferred and proficiency with Outlook and Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school graduate or GED
- Experience with food manufacturing
- Strong electrical knowledge
- Experience with pumps, piping, instrumentation equipment, welding, use of hoists, cranes, and fine measurement devices
- Minimum 5 years’ maintenance experience preferably an industrial manufacturing environment
- Proficient with Outlook and Excel
