Maintenance Technician Lead

Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician Lead, you will be responsible for training department staff, maintaining equipment, and assisting the Plant Manager in scheduling and determining equipment needs. You must possess at least 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant, ideally within the corrugated box industry, along with expertise in electronics, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity. Certification in forklift operation is also required. This role involves managing diverse skilled activities related to building and construction, ensuring workplace safety, and maximizing equipment utilization.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant
- Two years’ experience in the corrugated box industry preferred
- Heavy experience in electronics mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer competence and experience with the Microsoft suite
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification
- College and/or related technical courses
