Job Summary
Maintain and repair automated material handling equipment while using preventive and predictive maintenance processes to ensure high availability rates. Rapidly troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and restore systems to service to support the successful operation of the Solutions Integration facility. Analyze, diagnose, and evaluate conveyor components and other warehouse equipment, recommending or performing necessary repairs. Provide a safe working environment and prevent facility disruptions to building infrastructure and business units. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, systems, and building components. Manage multiple conflicting tasks in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing impromptu work assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school graduate or general education degree (GED)
- Three to five years 'hands on' experience in a commercial facility / physical plant operations
- Must be able to showcase professionalism
- Must have a high degree of confidentiality
- Must have leadership acumen
- Strong organization skills
- Must have the ability to prioritize impromptu work assignments
- Must have the ability to manage multiple conflicting tasks within a fast paced work environment
- Must use efficient work methods and tools to get the job done
- Must be able to analyze, diagnose, evaluate and recommend / perform repairs to conveyor components & other warehouse equipment
- Must provide a safe and secure working environment for our teammates
- Must prevent / Minimize any facilities related disruptions / inconveniences to the operation of the business units / building infrastructure
- Must perform preventive and routine maintenance to equipment, systems and building components
- Must be able to use preventive and predictive maintenance processes
- Must be able to rapidly troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
- Must be able to quickly restore equipment to service
- Must be able to support the successful operation of the Solutions Integration facility
Desired Qualifications
- Trade school graduate preferred
- Certification or Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in the Facilities, Engineering, Architectural disciplines
