Job Summary
Lead a maintenance team as Maintenance Technician Lead on the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10:00pm–6:00am; weekends as needed) at the Bridgewater Plant. Provide hands-on maintenance support while guiding a team of Maintenance Technicians to improve equipment reliability and performance, shaping a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and proactive safety. Responsibilities include overseeing highly technical tasks, ensuring Maintenance Tech III proficiency within 10 months, coaching and onboarding, directing real-time resources, planning and evaluating processes to enhance speed and quality, maintaining documentation, and producing clear oral/written reports. Requires expertise in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging, PLC, and a commitment to safety and continuous learning; preferred candidates hold a 2-year technical degree and prior line leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5-8 Years experience in Industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on Mechanical and Electrical Equipment
- Expert Proficiency in Hydraulics, Mechanics, Electrical, Welding and Rigging
- Intermediate Proficiency with PLC
- Commitment to Continuous Learning
- Maintain Perdue Farms QEW Certification
- 2-year Technical Degree in Engineering or Industrial Maintenance (Preferred)
