Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for diagnosing defects, performing repairs, completing the make-ready process for vacant apartments, and handling routine maintenance tasks on a residential property. Responsibilities include completing work orders within 24-48 hours, inspecting and preparing units for leasing, coordinating with vendors/contractors, maintaining grounds and common areas, documenting work, adhering to safety policies (OSHA), and demonstrating customer-service skills while interacting with residents and team members. The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, knowledge of tools and equipment, ability to work in varying weather conditions, and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Education/experience emphasizes hands-on maintenance ability, tool usage, and relevant certifications; EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required; high school diploma or GED preferred.
