Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for preparing units for move-ins, performing work orders (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), appliance repairs, unit inspections, updating logs, and exterior maintenance. This role includes responding to after-hours emergencies (on-call), grounds upkeep such as snow removal and hurricane preparation, and coordination with the Community Manager/Service Manager to ensure timely completion of tasks. Requires strong customer service and clear communication with residents and vendors; OSHA/EPA/CPO certifications preferred and a high school diploma or GED preferred with 1+ years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- OSHA, EPA, and CPO license/certifications preferred
- Criminal background screening required
- Valid driver’s license and up-to-date vehicle insurance
