Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment to keep production at full capacity. Responsibilities include dismantling, rebuilding, and reassembling machinery; installing wiring for electronic devices and electrical panels; wiring new equipment; installing water and electrical plumbing; reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, diagrams, and blueprints (including German equipment); performing preventive maintenance; supporting ISO documentation; and coordinating with safety and compliance requirements (OSHA/EPA). The role may require overtime and forklift operation; strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 2-5 years of experience as Maintenance Technician or Electrical Technician
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements (Lock Out/Tag Out, Pinch Points, electrical codes, HMIS/MSDS, waste disposal)
