Job Summary
Senior Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support and elevate a world-class manufacturing operation producing consumer chemical and body products. You’ll lead advanced mechanical maintenance, diagnose and repair complex electrical/controls issues, and act as a subject-matter expert for robotics, automation, and vision systems. Responsibilities include leading troubleshooting, rebuilding and aligning components, developing preventive/predictive maintenance programs, mentoring teammates, driving CMMS accuracy, and supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives. The role emphasizes training, coaching, and building a culture of technical excellence within the maintenance organization. The position requires hands-on experience with mechanical/electrical/controls troubleshooting, PM/PdM program development, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. Shift: 2nd, salary $38-$43/hr, benefits include health/dental/vision and 401(k) + match.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Mechanical Skills: Equipment teardown/rebuild, alignments, bearings, pumps, mixers, conveyors, and mechanical troubleshooting
- Electrical Skills: Low- and high-voltage troubleshooting (24V–480V), motors, sensors, relays, wiring, drives, and control panels
- Controls Knowledge: Ability to diagnose PLC I/O, faults, sensors, encoders, and servo-driven equipment
- Pneumatics & Hydraulics: Maintenance of cylinders, valves, actuators, pumps, air systems
- Schematics: Ability to read electrical prints, mechanical drawings, pneumatic schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshooting: Independent problem-solver capable of diagnosing equipment issues without engineering intervention
