Job Summary
Coordinate daily maintenance tasks, respond to work orders, and ensure campus grounds, facilities, and equipment remain safe, clean, and functional for residents and staff. Maintain work areas in an orderly manner, track and report supply needs, and promptly report equipment malfunctions. Follow all safety and sanitation policies while collaborating with departments to meet maintenance requirements. Valid driver's license and 3+ years of full-service building maintenance experience required. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in general, full-service building maintenance
- Valid driver's license
- Clear driving record
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to accept constructive criticism
- Ability to work effectively with personnel, residents, families, government agencies, and the general public
- Ability to minimize waste and misuse of equipment
- Willingness to work harmoniously with other staff
- Ability to report information concerning a resident's condition as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Trade or vocational school training
- Years of applicable experience (to substitute for high school diploma)
- Interest in learning and applying new maintenance methods and principles
