Job Summary
Maintain a safe working environment by completing preventative and predictive maintenance tasks while running or during scheduled shutdowns. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, HVACR, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, utilizing CMMS software and answering floor calls quickly. Provide and maintain your own hand tools, ensuring food safety compliance when working on equipment near products. Be visible and readily available to assist other team members and departments in this fast-paced bakery setting. Work different shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed to support operations at Kneads Bakeshop.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent mechanical ability and aptitude
- Strong understanding of and aptitude with basic tools
- Browser-based computer software experience
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs
- Ability to work on your feet for hours at a time
- Ability to work in hot environments
- Must be able to work different shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
