Job Summary
Maintain the physical condition of interior and exterior systems and machinery, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and emergency systems. Diagnose and repair problems across carpentry, masonry, painting, and waste management while completing assigned service requests to ensure vacant units are rent-ready. Assist with prioritizing maintenance tasks and may supervise other associates or outside contractors. This role requires availability Sunday through Thursday 8:30am-5pm, with coverage for Friday through Monday.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to provide coverage Friday through Monday
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass a job specific-related physical
- Must pass a TB test
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Maintenance experience in a licensed senior living community (Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing) or hospital/healthcare environment
- High school graduate
- One to three years' experience in maintenance service work orders and property maintenance
- Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
- Technical training or HVAC certification
- Skill in patch, texture and painting
- High degree of mechanical skill
