Job Summary
Maintenance Technician – Make-Readies & General Maintenance: This role focuses on completing apartment make-readies (unit turns) and supporting general maintenance across Metro East - St. Louis-area properties. Responsibilities include completing make-readies from start to finish, performing general repairs (minor carpentry, painting, fixture replacement, drywall, hardware installation), basic plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, disposals, supply lines), minor electrical work (light fixtures, outlets, switches), ensuring units are fully functional and move-in ready, responding to work orders, documenting work digitally, and maintaining organized maintenance areas. Qualifications emphasize 2–3+ years in residential/multifamily maintenance, plumbing/electrical knowledge, valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and proficiency with smartphones/digital reporting. Required Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience
- Strong make-ready / unit turn experience required
- Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- Trade experience in plumbing or electrical preferred
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in varied conditions
- Comfortable using smartphones and digital reporting tools
