Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for general facility and equipment repairs, scheduling and overseeing third-party contractors for facility work, inspecting ladders, dock doors, dock lights, dock plates, and personnel door access for safe operation, maintaining preventative maintenance schedules, operating battery-changing equipment for powered industrial equipment, using a variety of hand and power tools and electronic meters, identifying and repairing faulty equipment, and complying with safety requirements. The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and collaboration with supervisor and maintenance team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years maintenance and repair experience
- Strong mechanical ability
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Pass Background and Drug Screen
