Job Summary
Maintenance Technician role ensuring efficient operation of machinery and equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Requires strong mechanical/electrical background, proactive attitude, and commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include routine/preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems; diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues; responding to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime; maintaining maintenance records; assisting in installation/commissioning of new equipment; collaborating with production and engineering teams to improve reliability; ensuring safety compliance; maintaining a clean, organized work area; and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls, PLCs, and HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
