Job Summary
Maintenance Technician to support automated material handling equipment onsite at a customer facility in Jefferson City, MO. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system issues, completing repairs, diagnosing equipment failures, and maintaining logs to ensure reliable operation of conveyors, AGVs, robotics, and related automation equipment. Role requires collaboration with Storage Solutions personnel and customer contacts, adherence to safety requirements, and potential after-hours emergency support. Training on customer-specific systems and equipment will be provided; candidate works onsite with company-provided tools in a non-traveling, Monday–Friday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience maintaining industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or automated equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with conveyor systems, AGVs, robotics, or automated material handling equipment
- Familiarity with industrial controls, sensors, and instrumentation
- Basic understanding of PLC-controlled equipment
- Experience working in distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or automated environments
