Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Ensure smooth operations of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines and troubleshooting malfunctions. Perform maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment, including mold presses, pneumatic/hydraulic presses, and PLC-controlled systems. Participate in the preventative maintenance program to insure optimum machine utilization and respond to emergency maintenance requests as required. Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels and expediting orders. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, provide recommendations to management, and adhere to relevant health and safety standards and quality procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical school certificate or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years in maintenance related to manufacturing
- Electrical and machine repair experience
- Self-directed
- Professional manner
- Good teambuilding abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of PC and PLC equipment and systems
- Ability to lift at least 45 pounds
- Local Candidates preferred
