Job Summary
Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment, including general interior maintenance, HVAC/R coil cleaning, kitchen equipment upkeep, minor plumbing repairs, and lighting system bulb and ballast replacement. Perform defined tasks such as painting, locksmith work, and tenant services requests. Maintain good housekeeping, recognize safety hazards, and comply with all safety procedures. Complete ongoing technical training and document work performance and materials procurement. This position requires on-call availability for after-hours emergencies. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, basic plumbing and electrical skills, and the ability to lift 80 lbs and work on ladders up to 30 ft.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid state driver's license
- Minimum of one (1) year of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance
- Basic plumbing skills
- Basic electrical skills
- Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs.
- Ability to use ladders up to 30 ft
- Mechanical aptitude
- Electrical aptitude
- Ability to pass background screening
- Ability to pass drug/alcohol screening
- Ability to pass MVR screening
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of an applicable technical training program
- UST Class B Certification
- Ability to comply with both Jones Lang LaSalle and client-directed Policies & Procedures
