Job Summary
Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance programs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to minimize downtime. Respond promptly to repair requests, troubleshooting issues and updating work order status in WebTMA. Conduct routine facility inspections to identify hazards and replace lighting fixtures while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate with team members and clients to coordinate activities and escalate issues requiring management attention. Schedule is 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday; on-site in Houston, TX. No visa sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in general building repair and maintenance, including hands-on work with basic plumbing and electrical systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work from heights up to 15 feet using ladders and elevated platforms
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service orientation with ability to interact professionally with building occupants and address concerns courteously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Experience with WebTMA or similar computerized maintenance management software platforms
- Trade certifications or specialized training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related building systems
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for facility maintenance operations
- Familiarity with energy management systems and sustainable building operations practices
- Basic computer skills including email, mobile work order applications, and building automation systems
- Plumbing experience
