Job Summary
Respond to, diagnose, and repair maintenance issues for electrical, air, and hydraulic equipment across Weller facilities. Perform preventative maintenance schedules, process work orders, and manage parts inventory. Conduct routine inspections to identify problems and ensure building systems operate efficiently. Maintain records for OSHA compliance, keep the workspace clean and safe, and address hazards as they arise. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and 2+ years of experience in manufacturing with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Offers weekly pay, day shift schedule, and ESOP stock ownership.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable record
- 2+ years of job-related experience in manufacturing setting
- Previous work experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC and Plumbing systems
- Ability to furnish basic tools
- Demonstrates self-discipline and self-motivation
- Demonstrates strong reading, math, communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrates and works in a safe manner, wearing proper PPE and following company and safety guidelines
- Demonstrates familiarity with parts breakdown, wiring diagrams, and able to follow troubleshooting steps
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of organization with the ability to prioritize workload based on needs
- Ability to anticipate and overcome obstacles
- Demonstrates confident and clear thinking with the ability to think on your feet by responding quickly and effectively to work order
- Ability to develop relationships and work professionally with associates and managers at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrates exceptional communication skills
- Demonstrates a deep knowledge of the overall departmental function
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Prolonged periods of 8 hours or more standing
- Ability to hear sounds, buzzers, beepers and alarms, and recognize the difference between them
- Must be able to use hand and foot controls for equipment and PIT operation
- Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine needs
- Must be able to lift and carry for short distances up to 35 pounds at times
- Must be able to bend at the waist, sit, kneel, stoop, climb perform overhead and horizontal work
- Must be able to perform overhead work using PIT lift equipment, scissor lift, etc. at a height of 20 feet
- Must be an active listener and able to communicate for prolonged periods of time
- Remote work options are not available for this position
- Must submit to a drug screen prior to starting employment
