Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for performing maintenance functions under the Maintenance Group Leader/Manager. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance per OEM standards, mechanical troubleshooting of equipment, fixtures, and tooling; MIG/Stick welding and oxyacetylene cutting; maintaining accurate work orders in the maintenance management system; operating equipment such as cranes, hoists, forklifts, and lifts; ensuring a safe/clean work environment; collaborating with technicians, engineers, maintenance leadership, and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems; supporting project work and continuous improvement; performing adjustments to reach optimum equipment capabilities; and performing other duties to support manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of maintenance support experience
- High school diploma
- Must pass applicable drug screens, background checks and pre-employment tests where applicable by law.
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certificate
- associate’s degree in a technical field
- Journeyman status or equivalent in a specific trade skill (i.e.: millwright, ironworker, electrician, etc.)
