Job Summary
Execute preventive and proactive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime, performing repairs, inspections, and component replacements while adhering to GMPs and safety protocols. Diagnose line stoppages using root-cause analysis and testing devices, acting as the initial responder to ensure mechanical help is deployed quickly. Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for all required documentation and prioritize work to optimize machinery operating conditions. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for specific production line or support system equipment, utilizing predictive maintenance technologies to extend asset life.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography)
- Skilled in implementing and optimizing preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reduce downtime
- Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards
- Support the facility's food safety and food quality programs to assure compliance and achieve desired results
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
