Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation system failures, including PLCs, SCADA, robotics, CNC machinery, and HVAC. Lead major repairs of high-priority equipment, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. Develop and execute comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance schedules using vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis to maximize uptime. Manage equipment installations, commissioning, and system upgrades while collaborating with engineering and production teams. Mentor junior technicians, lead training sessions, and assist in developing SOPs and training materials. Ensure all activities comply with OSHA, environmental regulations, and safety protocols, maintaining detailed logs and supporting audits. Participate in capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Expert-level troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly and effectively resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and automation issues
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with the capability to lead a team, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Proficient in PLC and HMI programming, and the ability to troubleshoot and modify control systems to resolve issues
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting and maintenance, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other advanced testing equipment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to write detailed maintenance logs and reports
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with the ability to evaluate equipment performance data and implement effective solutions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
