Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment; perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments; repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition; advanced understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current and resistance; diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.; advanced understanding of electrical safety and motor control circuits and programmable drives; troubleshoot inputs/outputs on PLC and repair issues; complete projects to add electrical circuits and controls, new equipment and relocate machines; maintain and repair pneumatic systems; perform preventive maintenance tasks following instructions; enter all work in the computer-based maintenance program; monitor and report spare parts usage and complete parts order forms; adjust equipment based on SPC data and collaborate with QA; train all levels of technicians in more complex tasks; responsible for direct reports activities; able to attend training sessions including out-of-state locations; intermediate knowledge of fabrication (welding, basic machining); read blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics; strong work ethic and attention to detail; able to work independently and within a team; bilingual capabilities a plus; location noted as 9001 Ambassador Row, Dallas, TX 75247; shift is 1st and may require standby/overtime; full-time benefits described including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, EAP and development programs.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in related field, or equivalent relative experience
- 7-10 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and CMMS systems
- Able to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to train all levels of Technicians
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Bilingual is plus (English & Spanish)
