Job Summary
Monitor plant machinery and equipment for proper operating performance; perform regular preventive maintenance, repairs, diagnoses, tests, troubleshoot, and inspections on all systems. Comply with all safety processes and ensure standard operating procedures are followed while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Document all work accordingly and adapt quickly to changes. This role supports Land O'Lakes' Purina Animal Nutrition business, which innovates nutrition products to unlock animal potential.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- 1 year of industrial or building facility maintenance experience
- Basic computer and math skills
- Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and product manuals
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
- Strong collaboration, communication skills
- Always respectful
- Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
- Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
- Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods
- Working in areas where dust and chemicals are present
- Day shift 6a-6p
- 2-2-3 shift schedule
Desired Qualifications
- 1 to 3+ years' experience working with basic electrical systems, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyers, hydraulics, packaging, PLC, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps
- LOTO experience
- Forklift experience
