Job Summary
Maintenance Technician for 1st shift at ITW/Hobart Filler Metals. Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, performing precision machine repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance. Will use CMMS, read mechanical and electrical schematics/prints, and operate measurement tools (calipers, micrometers). Requires experience in manufacturing, familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and electrical control systems, and skills in pneumatic/hydraulic troubleshooting. Travel between plants (Troy, Piqua, Kings Chapel) may be needed. Must be a collaborative team player with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work with little supervision.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year Electronics degree (preferably electro-mechanical)
- experience in a manufacturing environment
- mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
- read mechanical schematics and prints

- use test and measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, multimeters)
- Pneumatic/Hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills
- capability to work at heights with proper equipment
