Job Summary

Maintenance Technician role at Ipsen's Wrexham site focused on manufacturing equipment upkeep. You will carry out preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximise uptime and performance, diagnose faults, and implement reliability improvements. Responsibilities include updating maintenance records in the CMMS, collaborating with cross-functional teams and contractors, and ensuring compliance with cGMP, EHS, and quality standards. The role requires strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting, experience with HVAC, aseptic lines, autoclaves, and freeze dryers being beneficial, and familiarity with GMP/regulatory environments and safety practices. Shift pattern is 4 on/4 off, 6am–6pm and 6pm–6am, onsite in Wrexham, UK.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills on production equipment
  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical
  • Experience of HVAC, aseptic filling lines, autoclaves and freeze dryers is beneficial
  • Understanding of GMP-regulated environments and health & safety practices
  • Carry out preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment to maximise uptime and performance
  • Diagnose faults and deliver troubleshooting solutions to minimise production downtime
  • Accurate maintenance records and CMMS updates (documentation)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support contractors onsite
  • Maintain adherence to cGMP, EHS, and quality standards
