Job Summary
Maintain and troubleshoot machinery, belts, conveyors, PLCs, motors, and gearboxes to ensure production lines run safely and efficiently with minimal downtime. Perform general upkeep of the production plant by following daily and periodic maintenance schedules to complete equipment needs on time. Execute preventative maintenance tasks to improve equipment reliability and report unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager while adhering to all occupational health, safety, and food safety guidelines. Requires Industrial Mechanic Millwright Trade Certification (Trade Code 433A) and 3β5 years of experience in a food processing environment. Full-time day shift position on-site at Burlington, Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- 3β5 years of maintenance experience in a processing, CPG, food production, or similar industrial environment
- 3+ years of experience working in a food production facility or similar setting
- Experience working with multi-meters, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs
- Industrial Mechanic Millwright Trade Certification, Trade Code 433A
