Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for observing and diagnosing mechanical devices, dismantling to access parts, inspecting with calipers/micrometers, adjusting and repairing parts, installing functional/structural components, starting machinery post-repair, and performing preventive maintenance per PM Schedule. Must source parts as needed and communicate with purchasing, leverage 3 years of machining experience, and work effectively either independently or in a team. Strong problem-analysis, listening skills, attention to detail, initiative, ability to work under pressure, and adherence to IFG safety policies and work-order procedures are required. Required Qualifications
- 3 years experience repairing and servicing a variety of machinery
- Must follow all IFG Safety policies and procedures
- Must understand and be able to work in Microsoft Word and Excel systems
- Demonstrates initiative
- Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Proven self-direction, must be able to work individually or in a team to complete equipment repairs
