Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform monthly preventive maintenance and inspections on major facility equipment, troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical issues. Adjust, install, repair, disassemble, replace, and reassemble production operations equipment while adhering to safety and quality requirements. Work independently to complete assigned work orders, investigate electrical issues as they occur, and conduct facility walk-throughs to monitor conditions. Procure parts and services from outside contractors when necessary and assist other departments with mechanical tasks. Train associates on production equipment and devise new solutions to problems encountered.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 7 years of maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of refrigeration and mechanical systems
- Solid trouble-shooting skills
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic & hydraulic pressure systems
- Excellent mechanical and basic electrical knowledge, aptitude, and principles
- Must possess excellent mechanical and basic electrical knowledge, aptitude, and principles
- Knowledge of CMMS and building automation systems is preferred
- Knowledge of basic computer and Microsoft Office applications
- Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment and work with other departments
