Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, preventive maintenance, modification, and installation of electrical drives/controls, power distribution, pneumatic instrumentation, and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment. Will train Apprentice E&I technicians, enforce safe work practices, document maintenance activities, and participate in safety programs. Must read and follow production specifications, use electrical diagrams and engineering specifications, and operate/maintain ABB/Allen-Bradley controls, PLCs, and related instrumentation. Rotating swing shifts with overtime opportunities (1.5x on Saturdays, 2x on Sundays, 1.5x outside scheduled shifts); strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year Technical degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical sciences
- 1-3 years of industrial experience (preferred)
- High school diploma and 5 years of industrial experience
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC drives, PLCs and industrial controls preferred
- Experience with Allen Bradley controls preferred
