Job Summary
Hands-on Multifamily Maintenance Technician responsible for day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of a multifamily residential community. Performs routine and emergency maintenance across units and common areas (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, doors, locks, windows, fixtures), prepares units for turnover, conducts preventative maintenance, maintains logs/work orders, and supports grounds and safety compliance. Coordinates with property management and vendors, responds to after-hours emergencies on an on-call rotation, and ensures safe operation of tools and equipment while upholding turnover readiness and resident safety.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily, residential, or commercial settings
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs with the ability to troubleshoot independently
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks regularly
