Job Summary
Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including dismantling devices, repairing defective parts, and troubleshooting control systems. Independently execute machining operations on lathes and drill presses, source necessary parts, and utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect performance data. Comply with 5S standards, update CMMS records, and assist lower-level technicians while completing self-study programs for career development. Maintain situational awareness in a loud factory environment, adhering to all safety policies and handling hazardous materials. Drive and participate in continuous improvement activities focused on cost savings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry
- 5 years of related experience in general industry
- successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program
- Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems
- Can analyze problems and perform repairs
- Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
- Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
