Maintenance Technician III

Job Summary
Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment at Yesway and Allsup's locations, serving as a subject matter expert in light electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC&R, and foodservice/beverage systems. Facilitate and inspect work performed by third-party vendors while ensuring a safe, clean environment by complying with all procedures and regulations. Accurately maintain inventory and tools on the company vehicle, utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage, track, and close work orders. Participate in training to stay current on equipment management and ensure each job is completed in a quality, cost-effective, and timely manner with exceptional customer service. Requires EPA 608 certifications and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three to five years' experience in the maintenance field
- Experience or training in one of the following fields: HVAC\R, Plumbing, Electrical, or Foodservice\Beverage repair
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, use hand/electric cart, use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, and use a ladder
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license
- Insurable as a driver
- EPA 608 Type I & II certifications OR EPA 608 Universal HVAC certification, or the willingness to obtain certification within a timeframe designated by management
