Job Summary
Conduct installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on hospital equipment, grounds, and Building Automation Systems. Troubleshoot boilers and chillers, record generator readings, and repair mechanical seals on electrical motors. Perform advanced HVAC, electrical, and plumbing work across the facility and properties. Requires a high school diploma, limited/unlimited NC license in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing, and physical ability to climb ladders and operate equipment. Full-time role with 8-hour days, subject to rotating 24-hour coverage, weekend shifts, and emergency callbacks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Limited/Unlimited license from the State of North Carolina in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing
- Ability to climb ladders
- Skills and knowledge of trades
- Physical ability to safely operate all equipment
- Ability to make changes to Building Automation Systems
- Ability to troubleshoot all boilers
- Ability to record generator readings
- Ability to troubleshoot all chillers
- Ability to repair or replace sheaths and mechanical seals associated with electrical motors
- Advanced level skills with HVAC, Electrical, and/or Plumbing
