Job Summary
Maintenance Technician III responsible for advanced maintenance across apartment homes and community spaces, performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance with a focus on safety, quality, and resident satisfaction. Leads and mentors other technicians, develops training materials, and collaborates with leadership on process improvements. Performs advanced troubleshooting of boilers, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; reads wiring diagrams and technical plans; participates in on-call rotation; travels between properties in Wisconsin; emphasizes customer service and teamwork, with strong leadership and planning skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years progressive maintenance experience
- Advanced technical certifications (HVAC, EPA 608, electrical, plumbing, etc.) preferred
- Mastery of multiple building trades
- Strong planning and leadership skills
- Advanced computer skills for data tracking and reporting
- Experience in mentoring/leading technicians
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, specifications, and technical plans
- On-call/occasional travel to multiple properties
- Regular travel between properties in Wisconsin
- Valid Class D driver’s license
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform demanding manual tasks
