Job Summary
Maintenance Technician III maintains buildings and common areas, performing caulking, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, window repair, flooring, fencing, roofing, concrete, janitorial, landscaping, and HVAC tasks. Supports the Property Manager in regulatory compliance, assists with move-out inspections and make-ready work, coordinates with outside contractors, manages parts inventory and tool storage, ensures safety and cleanliness, and participates in staff training and resident events. Requires ability to handle after-hours emergencies, follow safety standards, and work with residents; required to obtain OSHA-10 and EPA/CPO certifications within 90 days. Education and experience emphasize high school diploma or GED and 5 years in multi-family housing; Texas Driver’s license and ongoing regulatory training are included.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- 5 Years of experience in the multi-family housing industry preferred
- Valid Class “C” Texas Driver’s License required
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification
- EPA certification
- CPO certification (if required by property assignment)
