Job Summary
Maintenance Technician III responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including installation, setup, modification, and relocation of equipment. Read/write electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; test electrical and electronic components; ensure production schedules are not jeopardized by machine downtime; follow LOCK OUT procedures and safety policies; perform preventive/predictive maintenance; complete projects under direction from Maintenance Supervisor; maintain compliance with health and safety regulations; contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency in a fast-paced solar manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in related role
- Certificate from technical trade school or equivalent
- Experience reading/writing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics/diagrams
- Knowledge of PLCs and industrial control systems (e.g., Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCat)
- Ability to read electrical and electronic diagrams, test equipment, and perform preventative/predictive maintenance
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Strong safety culture and adherence to Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to complete electrical/mechanical projects under supervision
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred
